Concatenate Formula in SmartSheet

I cannot use the concatenate formula in SmartSheet the same way as Excel.

I am trying to input the Location Number into the email so that it reads "st[Location Number]manager@.com" as shown in the screenshot here.

Is there a way to do this inside SmartSheet?
